Romans 8:15-17

¹⁵ For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading to fear; rather, you received the Spirit of adoption, enabling us to cry out, “Abba! Father!” ¹⁶ The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God. ¹⁷ And if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, provided that we share his sufferings so that we may also share his glory.
